Best Workout, Full Body

This type of full body workout can be done inside or outside, at home or while traveling. You might think that a workout that works the full body which is done without weights can’t be very effective, but I challenge you a bit later in this post to try to complete the up-coming routine without getting winded.
Full body, body weight exercises are not anything new but with all of the marketing of all of the latest fads and equipment and so on and so on, sometimes it is good to just forget about all of the hype and just use what is always available to you….your body weight.
Your own weight is used as natural resistance. You can always modify certain exercises to make them more difficult and challenging by using resistance bands. Resistance bands are also a great item to take along while traveling.
The most important aspect of full body workouts is control. You will receive the most benefit of these exercises if you focus on controlled movements. In fact when the movement allows I try to utilize slow and controlled movements. Of course some exercises you just can’t perform slowly. By slowing some of the movements down and really concentrating on proper form I find that a lot of the movements will force you to really work you abs, in fact all of your core muscles. This is a great way to work on that sexy six pack.
As promised, the following is a workout which is a full body, multi-joint body weight routine. This workout uses movements to work your major muscle groups all the while working out your entire core including your abdominal muscles. This routine consists of 8 movement that can be done anywhere.
Go through each of the eight movements one after the other but rest 10 seconds between each movement. Do 5 circuits (if you can) and rest two min. between circuits.
1. Walking lunges, do six steps up and six steps back.
2. Floor mountain climbers, perform the movement for thirty seconds.
3. Lunge jumps, six rps each side.
4. Floor lying leg thrusts, 12 reps.
5. Squat jumps, complete eight reps.
6. Side plank hold, complete this hold for 30 sec. on each side.
7. Clapping pushups, 10 reps.
8. Squats, 12 reps.
